MI Fun Drive I '08 - April 12

After last night's snow, I'm glad we didn't go with the original plan of running one tomorrow, or even next weekend for that matter.

I really pray the snow stops after this.

Yeah, this snow is really beggining to get old. I'm dreading putting insurance on the car yet because I hate to take out in this crap! Hopefully it will be a nice sunny 70* day on the 12th!

Well it's official. I signed the title over for the MS6 today(3/29/08)...(cryhard).

So now all I have for the drive is the Fusion S, I know your all scared of the big bad Fusion with it's little NA 4 Cyl, Front wheel drive, bad tires and whopping 160 HP(Which I think Ford overstated), but I hope you still come to the drive. If nothing else you can point and laugh at me while I try to keep up. lol

Well congrats on finally selling the MS6, I'm sure its a relief to you that it's gone. Did you tell the buyer about us? I'm a little worried about the Fusion, but I think I'll take my chances

I was driving down Eureka Rd. in Southgate and saw my Protege for the first time since I sold it. The kid works at a Little Ceasar's near Fort St. Weird seeing it out there and knowing its not mine, although I do love my new car.

Tonight: Cloudy with occasional showers. Low 41F. Winds SSE at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of rain 60%.
Tomorrow: Showers and a few thundershowers. High around 55F. Winds S at 20 to 30 mph. Chance of rain 80%.
Tomorrow night: Windy with showers and a few thundershowers. Low 52F. Winds SSW at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of rain 80%. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.
Tuesday: Windy. A few showers from time to time. Morning high of 54F with temps falling to near 40F. Winds WSW at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of rain 30%. Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph.

To those of you that live south of Taylor (like me):

I think a solid meeting spot would be the Walgreens on the corner of Eureka and Telegraph. I am meeting Sandro there, and anyone else (Dave, Chris, etc) are welcome too.

Yep, Walgreens right there. I figured we could meet there at 8, since we usually meet up with the Dearborn folk at about 8:15.

Well we generally meet up with the Dearborn area folk at Telegraph & Cherry Hill, at a Boston Market that's now closed. I believe its about 8:15 when we get there, so I actually think 7:45 would be a better meeting time. I have to pick up my lady friend who lives up that way as well.

After we meet up with the Dearborn folk we usually just take Telegraph to 96, 96 to 14 and we get up there. And besides, who doesn't love caravaning in the morning?

A couple possibles but no definites. Also a possible 'Vette.

Dave, I removed my stock spoiler, too. I used clear rock-guard to cover the entire area and then painted it from the inside to match. It's starting to yellow a bit after a couple years but it's easy enough to replace.
