I know others have said it but, you **** Z06s?
Are Corvettes more common than RX8s where you live?
Yeah, they are pretty much everywhere here. Phoenix is chock full of people with disposable income. 'Vettes, Lambos, GTs, Ferrari. There is a guy in my neighborhood with some crazy Lambo (I don't know all the models). He couldn't be more than 25. His license plate reads "GOOGLED". I guess I'm the poor guy in Ahwatukee!
BTW - Before all you 'Vette lovers get your panties in a wad:
1) It is a fine and powerful car
2) Its always the driver. Unfortunately, the typical 'Vette pilot is just a mash-n-go. I'm quite certain that if I had to contend with a Z06 on the Jefferson with a competent driver, I would be in trouble.
Clean car. Looks like you have a lot of work in it. How many HPDE's have you won?
How do you "win" HPDE?
I'm curious about "yaw moment" and also what you mean by "tire-walling" Corvettes.
Yaw moment - the ease by which a car will rotate around its center of gravity.
I was being facetious about the tire-walling.
What I meant was I've had some 'Vettes follow me into a corner a little too hot and watched the resulting off-track excursion in my mirror.
I've never intentionally caused an accident.
The problem with the entrance into the first turn at Summit (on the Jefferson) was that it was populated by trees and a hidden piece of jersey wall. I can't say that any 'Vettes I saw tagged that.
When I would do FaTT events in my Miata, I'd end up in the grass there because at night it looks a lot deeper.
