methanol injection

hello i am interested in this kit

metrhanol injection for the my car i will have the CPE FMIC this monday(blowup) can anybody tell me the advantages/ disavanteges thanx a lot for any input!

Ability to increase timing due to decreased air intake temps from the evaporation of water into the charged air. Also, methanol acts as a super high octane fuel, upwards of 130 octane, which helps keep detonation at bay in high boost situations.

Basically it is a cheaper option to a new intercooler, just with the ability to add methanol. I plan on going with the Snow Performance Stage 2 kit, due to its ability to adjust the amount of water/meth injected with the amount of air the MAF is seeing. This is much better than the stage 1 for our cars, since the 2 steps up to maximum injection instead of just shooting as much as possible once a set psi is hit, like the 1.

know of a few subie's that love the kit. it's a huge help for those in warmer climates as well, though the tank might not last as long if you enjoy it too much.

and where can you get this methanol, not the kit i mean the methanol it self?

many windshield washer mixes have it in the mix. you can order a good 50/50 blend from snow though if you'd like.

$1 a gallon windshiled washer fluid works with those kits...pm kooldino. He sells the snow kits and is very knowledgable about the product.
