megan racing exhaust

I am thinking about buying a megan racing cat back but i want to see what it looks like coming out the back of the car any pic's would be nice!!!

i dont have any pics but i will admit the exhaust canister is rather but...4.5 in to be exact i love the look of the car and i love how it is its a good cat back. if you order it from aodfan you get a new gasket and new bolts for install. be careful with the stock mid pipe though because those bolts are pressed in and can be rather difficult to take out!

oh and i forgot to mention I LOVE IT!

It's not the full megan catback but it's pretty close I imagine.

no its not a full catback, but the muffler looks identical. I think theres a sound clip of it floating around to. It sounds great. Oh yeah, he also bought if from AODfan on this board. Apparently he has great prices to...

i beleive he has the meggan racing axle back/canister and the rest is custom piping he had done at a shop. but yeah the full cat back is the sex!

sound's really good with a turbo on it.
the exhaust is pretty loud for me but when they installed the turbo kit on it sounded much quieter and very pleasant.

u should get it.

the 0nly issues i had with it is that it bang's and my heat shiled and i dont like how it stick's out that much but all is fixable

Well I did at first but all I had to do is get some new stiffer exhaust hangers (I got at napa for like $4 each, you need two) and Mess with my heet sheld a little bet so it did not touch the pipes , this all took about 15 min, after that nothen but deep sounding exhaust

Finally got mine today (I hate UPS). I still have to get the new hangers and bend the heatshield a little but I love the sound and the look. No pics yet cuz it started raining while I was installing it. 2 Thumbs up from me. Hopefully pics tomorrow.

One question, I realize that the flanges are a little too large for the heatshield and I'll work on them this weekend but my question is, what's the difference between stock hangers and Kartboy hangers? How will his version improve/ stop the exhaust rattling against the heatshields?

The kartboys are urethand vs. stock rubber. it reduces the sway of the exhaust. as for the rattling i just beat up my heatshield a lil and it was fine.

what do you mean by beat up the heatshield??

You have to um...modify the heat shield under the car a little to allow for the connecting flanges.
