Let me rephrase, it starts at 70mph and continues from there on up. I swear our cars were born needing a 6th gear.

yeah everyone feels like you about that missing gear, but I don't know what everyone complains about. Do you have no resonator or something. I love the way my car sounds and it should be the same as everyone elses, a little loud but deep not to anoying (however you spell that) and mean when you get on it. custom 3" with a resonator and 3" hks hy power.

bingo. a resonator will help cut down on the droning. it may give a slightly more mellow tone too.

what about the Apex 2.5 downpipe w/ hiflow cat and the magnaflow 2.5 catback, does anyone have this, its seems like it would look sleeper enough but i was wondering how it would run

just an addendum, i have the Greddy SP2, which comes with TWO resonators...

Yes, it is bad. Maybe the baffling is "worn out"??

That's wierd, I thought the greddy was pretty quiet. How long have you had it on now?

mmmm....possibly. though doubtful that you would have burned through that much packing. is there packing inside a resonator even? i'm not really sure. but even then, with two resonators, it should be pretty quiet. are you sure it's not an exhaust leak? has the sound level gotten progressively louder or has it always been loud? the greddy seemed pretty loud from the soundclip i heard.

I think iot has always been that way, and it was only a year or so old when I got it.

well definitely some of the packing would have burned away by now. i dunno, it may be that the greddy is just too loud

I've got it, Apexr1 3" catless dp to stock catback. I'll take some vid tomorrow and post it up on Monday. IMO it sounds great. (thumb)
