If your trying to tell me Corvettes are American, I'm aware, I'm not retarded, but what I was saying is I dont normally like American cars, but American or not, the Corvette is a nice car and I do like it becasue it performs so well....But if your trying to tell me C > A, than yes I agree for the most part!

I'm saying that you can like or dislike American cars all day but the Corvette is not an accurate portrail of the average American car. In my opinion you cannot be a fan of cars, a TRUE FAN of cars, and hate on the Corvette. It's <i>the</i> American sports car. It's even priced at a point that if you worked hard all your life and saved, you could actually afford to have one no matter how little you make. It serves as sports car for the working blue-collar man, if he worked hard enough. You can't say that about a Viper, a Ford GT, etc.

Sounds like a normal v8 with a mean cam and a free exhaust...

It has a pretty rough idle for a 112centerline cam... It must have some serious overlap.
