MBC - Quick Question

Hey guys, my MBC should be here today. I have a BCD coming as well but it will probably be here next week.

My question is should I install and set the MBC now (for 17-18psi) before I get the BCD? I'm assuming its ok and actually a good idea seeing as if I accidently screw something up the car will see it and stop me before it breaks something....

....is my assumption right??

well, the stock ecu is supposed to cut boost when you go over a certain psi, and the BCD is supposed to prevent that boost cut.

if you were able to boost 17-18psi without it, it would defeat the purpose of the boost cut defender.

i got the BCD out yesterday and it said 3 days to CA, so you should expect it saturday or monday. Not sure how that will work being the holiday though.

Cool man. I think our ECU cuts boost if it sees a sustaned boost above 18PSI. At least that is what I read and could be wrong.

Ether way I think I will install the MBC as it is a 2 stage with the first stage being stock boost with a flip switch for stage 2.j

Oh - and thanks for the quick shipping. I looked at the instructions for the BCD install and it looks to be about a 5m job. I'm assuming you don't have to pull the TMIC to get too it.

pull it off its 10times easier trust me
