I wouldn't worry about the cams. Look into a CAI, exhaust, and maybe a header, along with a tune to get the most power out of the car.

While I think you really want the MS6, I think buying a turbo'ed car for the sake of saying you own one is the wrong way to think about it.

No, you'll need to figure out what mods you're going to put on, then take it somewhere and have it tuned.

Like Steve said.... looking into a full exhaust system, a CAI, and headers are just a few short mods you can do to improve power and response in your car.

As far as engine management, etc..... Unless that's something you've trained in and you have the skill, expertise, and know how. You would end up wanting to take it somewhere to have it tuned.

I can do all my own work to my car.... take the engine apart to install new pistons, etc... all the physical labor stuff, but when it comes to tuning I'm still learning and do not know all that much. I would just as soon take my car to a proper tuner rather than risk blowing the engine on my mistake, heh. Unless you can afford the risk of learning to tune on your car (and risk destroying engine after engine, which I don't think being the "broke college student") it's not something someone would advise you to try.
