Mazdaspeed6 Clunk!

Hi, I have the same problem buti dnt know if all of you notice but this always happen when you boost up the car and then push the clutch pedal or simply take of the gas pedal. IN my case it start right after the dealer replace the rear diff mount. They check it again and found nothing. About 2 months ago the car broke the 2 bolts that keep the rear diff attached to the chassis and they want me to pay $50 per each bolt. So I go to a bolt house and bought 2 new harder ones for $3.45 and they assembled it for free. But guess what, the clunk is still there!!! They apparently checked all the bushings and found nothing, so im using the car but very worried for that noise.

i speak of the one you can hear and feel. and it only, only happens when slowing down and downshifting.

to put it in perspective. your slowing down and your in third gear. now its time to push in the clutch, move the lever to second gear, let out the clutch,....bang. just after engagement.
sometimes the bang is delayed. as in, second gear in engaged completely, your slowing down, then the bang comes.

does anyone have any perspective into this.

@Mistersix Sorry for this old forumpost kick, but I'm currently experiencing 100% the same issue. Noise and often feeling it as well. Only when slowing down, downshift and after I release the clutch, bang. Sometimes it's delayed as well.

Hope to hear if you've found the issue (if you even still drive the MPS 6 )
