back on topic though, something about it i'm not liking. The hood isnt bad, could be better, and the whole front end looks too damn boxy, almost like a golf or something

Here's some pics from the web of the Mazdaspeed 3.
There are tons of theories as to whether it'll be a sedan or a hatch, turbo or SC, AWD or RWD... so I'm not really sure who to believe..
but none the less here's some pics..

I read that Mazda exhibited this model as the MS3 at a Japanese car show..

( I hope it looks like that, .. then again, I'm 'sedan' biased... )

Then... this was in the August issue of Car and Driver.
The hood scoop may answer the question of whether it'll be a turbo or SC motor.. turbo it is..
I highly doubt the scoop will look squary like that tho, I think its just hidden..

Frankfurt autoshow is next week but Mazda's not going to introduce the Mazdaspeed3 there (my apologies for earlier saying it'd be Frankfurt, that's what I was told at the time).

I was just looking at the hatch picture again... and the hatch doesn't seem to have too many exterior differences from a normal hatch (except scoop and rims)..
