The problem: rebuilt turbo + 19psi (I forgot the boost was turned up that high)+ untuned + fmic + sri + tbe + cdfp + turbo manifold= holes in my block( even though a/f never went above 12.1)
The solution: PROTEGE GARAGE and MACON MOORE PERFOMANCE

New block-Mazda OEM
Crankshaft- Mazda OEM
Forged Rods-Pauter Rod set
Rod bearings- Mazda OEM
Piston kit -Arias piston 8:8
Head Gaskets- Mazda OEM
Engine Gaskets kit-Mazda OEM
Main Bearings- Mazda OEM
Thrust WasherMazda OEM
Head Stud Kit -ARP
Mainstuds -ARP

How about a conversion to RWD? f' AWD. With the kind of cash you are droppin' on this, might as well grab a few more grand get a hell car and then add your unique touch. Any updates on how everything is going?
 
nice build.. yeah , just find a Totaled ms6 and convert it to awd... with that kind of money being thrown at it..

there is worse? how can RWD be worse? we can't really get a high performance AWD in our car. There is no point in putting that bad haldex s***, we still will understeer, the car will still be a little handicapped and its heavier and expensive.

if we could switch it to RWD he will be golden.

I know haldex engineers said that the setup can be made to run a 50/50 all the time, but no one has done it and it is based off a distribution that I havent found.

anyways, its all wishful thinking.
 
I just dont get why people try to make more power in a FWD car? I cant imagine the car pulling any harder with torque steer. I mean there is some more HP to tap into for fun but at some point you cant use it much, right?
 
Look it was sell my aftermarket parts and buy a stock engine or keep my part buy a forged block for almost the same money. Please tell me what would you do.
 
ignore them. this thread is about your conversion, not why FWD is bad to mod.
 
Ive never said FWD is bad to mod...........I just threw an idea of RWD cuz it would be pretty cool............I've seen insane FWD cars, if i had the money I would also build my engine!

I suppose the rolling mash of the peddle would be crazy but off the line would take some practice, lol.

i was saying there could be worse......meaning i've seen a lot worse (different) than a RWD MS3.... for example a 70's camaro with like 35 inch tires and some rediculous lift kit.......that was just ugly.

I am sorry but saying worse (although not an incorrect comparison) implies a negative connotation. I think a more proper statement would be, what could be "better" than a RWD MS3. and the reason is that the most power restrictive part on the MS3 is the drivetrain. If get rid of that FWD, our potential is endless.
 
so its been about 5 weeks since my last update, I can tell by the amount of bumps that nobody cares. Any who I'm having a crazy hard time trying to get ahold of a fresh block. That is the only thing i'm wating on, as a matter of fact.
If your wondering where iv'e been I had to go to LDAC for 5 weeks, that why i've been outta the loop.
