MAZDASPEED3 brocure.......hawtness

I have a theory that the same people who think hatchbacks are too cute/gay/feminine are the same people who say that about Miatas....

I'll tell you, real men drive cars that they are practical and affordable, put the rest of their income into a real asset, and don't give a f about impressing their young male cohorts. Unless they're gay, not that there's anything wrong with it.

.. So are these brochures out in most dealerships by now?

I have no interest in buying an MS3 -- I'm just not a hatchback fan -- but I would like to snag one of those brochures and see one face-to-face whenever they're supposed to start hitting the lots.

after seeing one in person all i have to say is it is perfect for it's class at the price range it is at. Can you get a Honda Civic Si for 31,000CDN (don't know what they start at US) which is pretty much a class comparison or the vw golf gti.

I can't wait till they put it up against vehicles in it's class in magazines, I think it will take the cake with the competition.

not a fan. its no msp or ms6. its got the engine, just less attractive

Amen Brother! While I love the motor, Interior and even the miracles they have worked with the suspension to make it handle great, the styling KILLS it for me....and I LOVE hatchbacks. I've always thought the 3 hatch to be much less good looking than the P5 it replaced and the styling on the MS3 while not ugly, certainly does NOTHING to get me excited about this car.

But I'll give it this, it looks 100x better than that automotive abomination the Dodge caliber SRT4

IMO Audi makes the best looking Wagons/Hatches. The P5 will always go down as a classic for me and the VW R32 is awesome also. All these cars (yes including the P5) just make the MS3 look stodgy

Stick the MS3's engine, powertrain and suspension in the P5 and there would be no contest about which one I would pick.

Yes this brochures should be in every dealership by now.
I agree this is not the best looking hatch on the market right now, and prob not the best looking mazda hatch; but it is beyond comparison in the power dept.

You'll hear no complaint's from me on the power, interior or suspension fronts. You can debate FWD vs AWD in this car but the suspension gurus have made handling a non issue.

Apart from the looks I love this car. But they styling stops me from getting excited about it.

Then you would know AWD costs more. I say whatever I want, because its my own opinion, and yes, I am aware it will rub some the wrong way because many here own wagons. You said you think the MSP6 is a family sedan and I couldnt care less, you dont see me beechin. Sure, with all the crap you have done, your car should be able to run fast...so what? if speed was the only thing i was looking for, I would've bought an STi/Evo.
