yeah, but typing in "J&S" won't work... none of the admins will get off their asses and make 3 letter searching work (which is practically a flip of a switch)... so a bunch of poor souls around here can't even search a ******* thing about EGR valves for example and will keep posting new useless threads

Yes, including 3-letter words for searches is just a setting that can be easily changed. But unfortunately, indexing 3-letter words will cause performance issues on our current hardware. For the foreseeable future, only words with a length of four or more letters will be indexed.

a word list can also be made to bypass the character limit... it can make certain searches such as engine code names and acronyms possible

when there's a will there's a way ;)

This is freaking sux.. I sent an Email to NSN Motorsport requiring information and pricing for the J & S Safeguard and this is what Turfburn replied me..

J&S has basically ceased making the units for the Protg's. I am unable to
get units anymore. We have them listed in the hopes of it changing soon but
no luck yet!

Thanks,

Steve

once in a while a used one pops up around here

glad I got one of the last ones while I can

I thought the more expensive 4ch units were supposed to be able to work by only using 2 channels.

I'm glad to have one of the first few units keeping me running in one piece :)

Here are some more pictures and work i've done to the engine on yesterday, the sad thing is my mechanic needs to take the head to the machine shop to get it cut and straighten up and that's going to delay the progress until this upcoming Monday, but everything else is just coming out sweet and smooth better that what i thought

Here is My Hiboost Big Boost Turbo manifold along with Tial 40mm External Wastegate and the bad boy Garrett GT3582R DBB Turbo.. The complaint i have is in here in Spain Jet HOT or Ceramic Coating don't ******* exist, they don't even sell UHT Paint to atleast paint the Exhaust manifold, back of the turbo and downpipe to make them look better and to avoid that rusty looks it has. but o well i can't anything about it Spain is not like USA where everything you think, dream already exists...

It's finally coming together faster than what i thought, everything is being measured and double checked for mistakes or any issues. most likely for the 25th of this month the car should be finished and tuned..

gettin your hands dirty? I'm impressed! hahaha

i keed, i keed.

Well, there were lot of people that put me and my car down because i paid to get it done in the past,,, but know things have changed in the present and who knows in the future.. This time this bad boy have been done by me. And i feel a little more proud than before and iam sure well be back bigger, better and stronger !!!

Damn, glad I picked one up when I did. Sorry about your luck. I would email John. I just sent mine to him for a new harness, and an inspection (just to make sure it's good, since I bought it second hand), so I know he's back in town.

all you need is a new manifold.. something stainless steel or something. free up some of that air flowing out your beautiful head you have there

with all the work you have in that engine why settle with a simple cast manifold that could be improved

its not about cash Scott, is just that there is nothing really better as for Exhaust manifold in the market to buy, Tubular manifolds tend to crack on welds, my Hiboost Exhaust manifold have been port and polish, most of the interior surface of the manifold is smooth, I mean you have a sick manifold but they dont sell them anymore, and you had to modify the flange to make it work with the 35R turbos. What else can i say about your build.... hahaha your build puts to shame my build, you can trully say your car is bullet proof with that insane tranny you have, par gears and Quiafe lsd..

btw i have seen the manifold you have cracking and leaking. i dont remember the members Screen name but he was actually selling it cause of the pain in the ass have been with him, he was actually trying to source the same Hiboost manifold i have..

I'm 2 years running strong on my Spool Tubular manifold. Yes, they're extremely rare, and I'm proud to ahve one, but also very well built!
