Mazdaspeed Vs Integra

1.Don't worry about it for now. The motor mounts should help you from breaking. Fix it if it breaks.
2. Your mod list says you have a FMIC???
3. I have the SteedSpeed it's gave me a nice HP increase
4. Don't know if it's worth the money to me
5. The stocker can get you low 13's
6. Great idea.
7. definitely
8. lighter is better
9. do you have a turbo back exhaust? Also, if you're really planning on pushing the stock internals like I am, I would suggest a baffled AWR oil pan to stop oil starvation (one of the most common reasons for rod bearing failure).

exhaust is GOOD to have... personally i have a tanabe setup.. 2.5 in.... in changing taht out to go with a 3 in down pipe and straight out to an apexi n1... but that is me... i cant decide if i wanna go wastegate out the front bumper or not... argh...... it does sound cool off the downpipe though doesnt it :-)

lolol i have a tanabe super medalion... it is loud... i cant see three inch being much more louder.... hell my car was quiter WITHOUT the muffler wtf

in my opinion, if you're looking to go really fast...then don't go msp. the protege is quick with just a little mods but it won't get any faster than that unless you wanna spend a fortune. if you wanna go fast, id get like a 90 something civic hatch or coupe and put a k20 in there maybe even turbo it. Lets just say it makes fast look not fast :P and keep the protege as your daily driver.

Go build a civic then and call me when you blow that motor. I'll just keep buying them for you. That first one is a built motor with a good tune. Just because it's on the street doesn't really mean it's streetable.

i'd rather have a good looking car than a fast car. sometimes you luck out and find one that has both qualities...but as far as i'm concerned, the msp is better looking than a honda, and for a protege, it's not all that slow if you think about it.

I just remembered I got to race against a pretty good shop's car, south gate auto. Turbo B series hatch. Sounded exactly like my turbo set up. He got walked 3 runs in a row, I didn't smoke him but I did win. On the track keep it legal...

Heres the new plan...now this should get me low 13,s and a very fun car now I just need to see if i can find some of these parts used or a cheaper price

I dont think that will get you low 13's once again. you need more boost and a good tune. If you could i would get a J&S safegaurd and then crank up the boost (To a point) and get a upgraded oil pump and pan. with that and those mods you mentioned i think you would have a fast and safe msp.

my buddies gsr lived forever at 10psi on a t3/t4 putting down 270whp. Now he has a built engine and runs 20+ psi. Definately 100 times more reliable than my msp has been, but its still a honduh

btw all these people getting their cars stolen, you never thought to put a hidden switch on your fuel pumps? seems like a no brainer if you have a honda

lol around Philly,New Jersey, and New York a kill switch, alpha lock, steering wheel that comes off and pitbull in the front seat really don't mean crap. They stepped up there game with flat beds lmao.Integra FTW if you want some serious power.B18c1 gsr engine or step it up to b18c5 type r or hell just throw in a k series. The 2nd video is my brothers old hatch he built had a gsr but the idiots blew it somehow lol so they threw in a b16 342hp 393tq at 12 psi with the gsr it was pushing 400hp.

MSP vs Integra type r with b18c5 engine on boost also.

gsr's are good on boost when stock but they will not have any where near the torque that the msp has when modded. what good is 300hp if u are barly breaking 215tq? the msp is also slot better for a daily driver. and if money is an issue insurance will also be higher on a GSR due to it being a 2door sports car. i had a 2000 gsr in 06 and it wasnt bad but it only had 170hp and 130tq.

Wrong I know that hatch and it's an all motor straight drop in k series nothing special about it. (screwy) well maybe just a header and exhaust .

To me building this car was never about having the fastest car around, cause there's always someone faster. This car is more about the car/driver connection and the feeling you get driving it. Mine is a backroad only car, I don't DD it or anything, it stays in the garage until I want some fun, and for me it fulfills it's purpose.

I have driven a completely built n/a Prelude before and it just doesn't feel the same as driving a Mazda. It had more work done, and probably was pushing more power, but it just wasn't as fun. (dunno)

Im the same way! i had a fully built altrac celica with around 400hp and still my close to stock msp is funner to drive and both cars are rare!

look... msp's are great... they are just... PICKY... my ecu adapted to changed i made in a day... that is so frustrating... put intake on an integra.. and tehre is instant change.. and it stays taht way.. put intake on an msp, or p5... and the ecu adapts to it and if it dont like it your stuck in limp dick mode... eh.. do what you want with what ever car... just dont loose image of what you want to do with it... no matter what car you get... hell itis a car.. and they beat walking.. ( most of the time.. ) good luck man...
