Springs

I wish I had taken shots in the same place but I think these two pics give you a good idea. Overal about an inch in the back and maybe a touch more in the front. Tech said I may get a little bit of settling but not much. Cars look TONS better and handles extremely well now. Does not float over crowned corners. I don't know who makes the springs for mazda but they are definately suited for the car.

That does look good, now go and stick on some 245 tires and let us know if they rub.

I have been considering the MS MS3 springs but am concerned they will rub with my 245 tires.

That is also my concern. My wife weighs about 400lbs so I don't want to cut a tire if she leans over to kiss me (or finds a fry that fell between the seats)

I might go 235 or 225 40

is he serious?!

Yes he is. I think Swamp was even considering hauling her around in a trailer attached to the back of his MS3, but he decided he didn't wan't to hurt his car.

No, Akaveli it's a joke. I sure hope so or I'm going to feel like an idiot for my comment.

it's great. Feels stock or maybe even a little smoother. It's also possible that my alignment was way out as I had that done also. Everything is ship shape though. I didn't get in and think....oh, a lowered car. Rides a lot like it did at the orig height

My offer from before still stands, I would be happy to trade my skinny wife for your big wife. I think it is a fair deal as she is mean and doesn't cook, just like yours.

She doesn't eat much, is mostly house trained, and has nearly all her teeth (and some of them are white). Just don't get your fingers (or any other body parts) near her mouth, she's a bit of a biter.

Im assuming since you said springs its just the springs and not the coilover kit? The only thing is my Mazdaspeed catolog sayes they only drop 15mm which is about .6in ..... I wanted to get them but not after reading that, but yours looks good so which ones did you get exactly???

Looks really good!
Surprised you said they lowered about an inch, aren't they advertised as a 15mm drop? Have you scraped anything yet?

Did you install them, and if so how difficult was it?

I know they say 15mm but it was more than that for the drop. I measured about an inch on the rear and maybe 1.25 in the front. These are just the springs. I had the dealer do them as it also needed to be aligned. I had a 10% off coupon so I was only ***** @ 90% vs. the full deal.

I might take you up on that Wagonman. We're coming up on summer and I am not a fan of running the AC 24/7.

looks good swamp.... not quite as low as mine but still looks (and im sure rides) much better than stock height

What springs out there drop about 1.50 in the front and maybe 1.25 in the back?? i'm looking to drop my speed3
