MazdaSpeed Rims on my p5!

those of you that put'em on, could you feel a difference in terms of the car's power? Since they're heavier, did it feel like it's taking more time to get to speed, etc?
that's the first thing i noticed on them. They were much heavier than my old 17" wheels. I hope they can withstand those huge pot holes in NYC.Being so heavy are they strong? Anyone bent their MSP rim.?

hey what size tires did you get? i got 215/45/17. my friend says they're bigger in diameter now... maybe i should've got 40?

I like my 215/45-17s, I think they're the perfect size

the speedo is off by about 3mph at highway speeds (reads about 67 when I'm going 70) but I just adjust my cruising speed accordingly

yeah I stuck with the 215's as well, it fills in the fender gap, and now that its lowered the car looks lowered but does'nt actaully sit any lower to the ground then stock, which is great, you get the look of being lowered without the worry of scraping. I find the ride is nicer with the 215's as well, a lot less bumpy then the stock 16 inch rims/tires. PLus you put less mileage on your car due to the speedo being slightly off, win win situation there.

i got to get me a set of those things...damn sexy on a p5. too bad i'm completely broke. ahhh...the life of a college student....
