Mazdaspeed MP3 engine in P5

This may have been asked before but I am new.
How hard or pratictle is it to swap a MP3 turbo engine or just the turbo goodies to a 2003 P5 ?
Would I have to change the whole wiring harness ?
Are the engine internals the same ?
In theory it sounds like a cool mod.

The MP3 was never turbo; The MSP was.

Internals are the same.

You'll need a new ECU.

Yes, its possible and very easy. But because you couldn't do the 30 or so seconds of research to find out for yourself I seriously doubt you'd be able to pull it off.

You'd need everything from an MSP that isn't the engine or tranny (ECU, manifolds, Turbo, downpipe, etc...). The stock P5 harness should work fine. Unless you find a well cared for stock setup for really cheap I'd just go with an aftermarket kit. If you wan't to make any sort of power in the future you're going to get rid of the ECU, Turbo, Intercooler, etc anyways.

It would be a very easy swap. Plus with the amount of people modifying their speeds, you could find everything you'd need very cheap.

Skip the problems with the MSP turbo setup and just get a Mental Addiction kit.

Hey Thanks :)
I looked at Mental Addiction Motorsports setups
THey are NICE.
The Sleeper sounds like the way to go and upgrade later as able.

So is the wiring the same from a MSP to a MP5 ?
a few folks reference just needing the trubo goodies and a new computer.
Is there no computer control of the boost as in some other cars?
