if it's a daily driver, go with the MSM.. the German cars will cost more in the long run for maintence..

And right now, there are dealers who still have '05 MSMs on the lot and are willing to deal!

No ya don't ;-) That's one of the few things you don't need a lift for.

I would still go with the miata. The Boxster will cost more in the long run, but it is a lot of fun.

well jetta is not even made in germany and since TT is more of the high end vehicles in the VW family im guessing itll be more reliable ??

I gotta tell you the TT is VERY safe. I saw one get t-boned here last year at about 50 mph and the lady got out and walked around without a limp. Impressive.
