Yes, it will make a difference - it will be slower. The cover is needed to route the air from the front hood scoops into the cooler.

Ok I Appreciate The Advice I Was Just Wondering , I Didnt Know If It Was Restricting The Intercooler Or Not

Hes talking about the cover over the intercooler not the hood air guides right??? I havent taken a close look at it yet but i was thiking about the same thing. Are the hood air guides giving the air to the intercooler in a way that the intercooler cover benefits it? Just curious
