Mazdaspeed emblem on Protege 5

Here is what the mazdaspeed emblem looks like on a Protege 5 replacing the silver Mazda on back.

Not quite sure how that's going to happen since there will be no '04 P5. Maybe they'll do a 'speed version of the 3 for a mid year refresh.

And never, NEVER hold your breath for anything promised from MazdaSpeed. They just don't produce, or do so very very late.

Rob is right! There are so very little parts available for our cars from MazdaSpeed...so what makes you think they will put forth the effort to make an actual MS P5? I originally ordered a MS clutch to be put in, but the dealer could'nt find it, even when they are the ones who mentioned it to me! Damn. LOL

ROFL...hey, that hat is good for 5 whp if you wear it backwards.

Yeah, the dealer here has told me twice that the MSP turbo setup will be on sale any day now! At least we're not denied the emblems.

No there isn't. The P5 is being replaced, there has never been, nor will there be a Mazdaspeed P5.

The Mazdaspeed Protege 5 if release next year will be the 170 horsepower sport 20. No Turbo.

Let me find the magazine article and scan it for you. Its between a Mazdaspeed Protege and Japanese/Aust. Sport 20 and guess what wins. The sports 20. The speed ran a 15.4 and the sport 20 ran a 15.2. I think thats cool.

If Mazda releases a 'Speed P5 next year it will be the only P5 they make for 04. The P5 is being replaced for the '04 model year by the Mazda3. Since the "Wagon" version of the 3 will come with the 2.3 only (which I assume is the one from the Focus), there should be lots of after market goodies for it.

Mazdaspeed produced more hats and t-shirts then parts for the Protege5.:mad:

The colors must be a regional thing... I almost never see either of the blues in SoCal. Mostly Silver, Yellow, White, and Red in that order.

dont see too many of the blues and whites here(which makes mine unique around here)
