Mazdaspeed 3. Hatch or Sedan?

I've driven both, and I'd take your 6 over a 3 wagon anyday.

Sedan still gets my vote. I have a neighbor with a titanium hatch so I see it everyday, and I have no interest in trading my speed for a wagon. it's really cool and all, but I can't get past the pt cruiser hood.

I'd still only take the sedan. The wagon kit isn't quite my taste.

if you need the kstyle kit to make it look better - LOL..... but, I won't knock you on the sedan with the k kit - the k kit for the 5 looks butt with that lowest lip but that grill is awesome. my pennies. (yes)

Well, it seems like you mentioned how the K kit makes the sedan look nicer in your earlier post when you added the pictures in to try to prove a point... as for modifications - same engine, same mods don't you think / perhaps a few different mods for suspension and body panels since the 5 shares only one or so of it's external panels with the sedan but I am sure the development for these parts will be on a similar timescale. Potential? never can tell - that's arbitrary - which one has better front/back weight distribution ratio, who is heavier, who hauls more stuff, who is going to chop the top, who's going to slam their vehicle, autocross...the list continues....

for me and the current style trend it seems, is the shift to the more "station wagon" eg: Magnum, Matrix, Mazda3-5 (hey, they all start with an "M"), Scions, etc.. look. (rofl)

well, i'm off to wax down the "serve no real function but looks cute rear spoiler" on my 5... ltrz!

I bought my first Mazda a week ago. I got the Mazda 3S 2.3L Winning Blue fully loaded. What a sweet ride this car is. Looks GREAT inside and out. Gotten plenty of compliments on the vehicle. Zippy little thing. I love driving this car. I am adding more accessories to it a soon as I find pieces for this model. Any suggetions? I am also new to the fourm. Just found it today and registered today.

Welcome to the forum. My advise is don't believe the hype. Check everything out before you get it and Don't do anything to your car to impress someone else. If you don't have something don't put the sticker on your car. (i.e. vtec, nos, type r, mazdaspeed, svt.....)

Sedans are girly.

In my honest opinion the sedans are girl cars. I see more of them with girls driving them that guys. Second the hatchback is better looking and is more of a mans car. It go the best ratings for looks by car and driver magazine. The sedans look so plain and are so ugly. (pukey) (pukey) (puke)
