is it hard to remove, like pins etc.? or is it just stuck on with adhesive?

i want to put the blackout kit on my new speed 3... i sold my white one and bought a 2008.5 True Red GT :)

It's tig welded to the frame. You need an acetylene torch and a chain strapped around a tree to remove it.

haha, the kind of response i expected at first... especially from mr.help himself

I removed the 3 from the badge on the back. The adhesive is still so new it didn't even leave a shadow.

I just finished doing the front. It is just clipped on so it's easy to remove. As for the back, you'll need to take it off with a fish line.

white emblems = gay
blavk emblems always look good.

check kens site at protegegarage.com first. he's the man. if you dont find any under the mazdaspeed3 part check a few others. he deserves the business for he rules. other than that you can get them off of street unit . com i now for sure.

unless you have a spray booth. then you can save a lot of money.

85+49 for a complete set ouch.... might sell my ps3 for mods O_O

black rims + black emblems = win

Ok, while we're talking about removing the back emblem, I'm going to confess something. I scrubbed the left over residue off a bit too hard when I did this and ended up making swirls in my clearcoat. I have now tried 3 different scratch remover products (Maguire's, 3M and something else). 3M made the most difference, but at certain angles and up close you can still see it.

Any suggestions for removing these swirls entirely? It's a large area (3" x 8" or so) and I would like to avoid tossing touch-up paint over it.

Thank you
