Mazdaspeed 3 DOWN!

So then if you like the car why are you here stirring things up? I bashed the golf to get a reaction out of you just like you seem to be doing in this thread.

The ms3 is quick and it's easy for an inexperienced driver to total one. When the speed is in the triple digits (or close to it), there's little side airbags or crumple zones will do for you (or the car).

I almost bought a golf GTI but when I learned that golfs have a habit of bursting into flames due to their "questionable electrical systems, I bought my super reliable P5 instead. Now I feel much safer.

I actually looked up every car in it's class...if you think the mazda has bad side impact ratings look up a 2002 chevy cavalier. The only one that did better was the civic....and even then, not much better.
To answer your question, considering the car has no side airbags....yes, yes I feel safe driving me car. Pretty damn good ratings for the price/class my car is. Far from "crappy".

VW's suck they are cheap and crappy

hey, your entitle to your opinion, im not going to change your mind. vws arent the best cars out there, all cars have room for improvement. the only bad part about vw is they are so expensive to maintain..there not cheap at all, the quality vw put in theirs cars are awesome..ill give you one example. i was towing a car and i used a spare screw off a vw i had laying around so i can tie the chain together, i pulled that car all the way home with no problems and the screw was still perfect, vw even puts effort in making their screw strong, now Mazda, they lack quality in their screw and many other parts, another example, i was tightening a screw on my msp motor and it striped and the head broke off"water exit on driver side (upyours)". like i said, every car has room to improve, some people are hard-head and think their cars are the best, those people are ignorant. i like all cars, thats why i switch from vw to Mazda and after the Mazda, its going to be a audi.

my point in all this would be: all car could improve. the only reason i "pick Mazda" was b/c this is a Mazda forum. and if you guys cant handle a opinion without getting hurt about it, then im sorry, you shouldn't be on the web. im not here to argue, i just stated my opinion. if i offend anybody, truly sorry.

i agree with kick , iv told them that mazda is a very good company , they like hondas but there not ricy about it there in terms of simplicity , and i admit it , honda is very good ,but iv told them , look honda has had more recalls then mazda has ever had , and mazda might not be up to par with honda but when it comes down to it , its all about the owner , and the type of car , a honda civic will put up with a lot but wont put up with it being pushed to hard , but a mazda 3 will probably handle harsh turning a bit better just beucase its that kind of sport car , rain , is this the guy you were tlakint about ??

No, that wasn't the guy, but that was an impressive off nonetheless.

so you stripped a screw a lot of people do that. y used the screws from my p5 to pull a car also no biggie. i had removed/installed cylinder head on my p5 at least 5 times never stripped a single screw. as a matter of cat i have not even stripped a spark plug thread either

I guess it depends on what screw....I know I used a screw from one of my tweeters to tie the chain together when I was towing my Jeep and it worked out great.
