Mazda5 Stalling out when idling/stopped

Have you checked to make sure your engine air filter isn't dirty or obstructed? It's possible that the engine can't pull enough air through a clogged filter when it's at idle, causing it to stall out. Do you have any engine codes or warning lights?

+1 for a cleaner, especially if you've never done that before, Royal Purple has a 10,000 mile one.

Regular stalling can the the MAF sensor is dirty, a very easy fix. It's easy to get to, remove, and just use a MAF Sensor cleaner spray you can get at any car store.
