Yup. The 3 has 0% US/Canadian parts content and final assembly point is Hiroshima.

I have a 3 in riverside and may be willing to use it for test and free parts. Why not, right?

Found anyone yet?

My wife will be in SanDiego for two weeks starting next week. I'd be willing to let her take the car with her if you are still looking for one.

I read in a magazine and was told that its 98% in Japan , And the 2% is a minor production from US.

(shrug) I don't know if I would believe a magazine or the sticker on the window.

There are other nations in the world besides the U.S., Canada and Japan. (hi)
Most of the Ford parts come from India, the U.K. and Hungary.

hey its me again, it looks like I should be able to allow you to use my car, I live in Irvine (Orange County) and I am willing. Is there a warranty or anything? Do you install the set of springs that are going on? When (durning the week) would you need it dropped off. Just wondering.

I know that gold but don't you think that they would include that instead of 0?

Nope. Not at all. The sticker is only required to give US/Canadian parts content.
