mazda3 - great price?

i need to get a mindblowing deal for a mazda3 .. anyone recently bought or researched these and know how much of a deal is it possible to get out there?

considering it's mazda's close of fiscal year im sure they'll even budge in the 3 .. they're throwing in additional customer cash on every other model

i'm looking for a base setup with auto tranny .. please let me know what you have recently paid for one or what you'd think i should negotiate for .. thx
