Mazda Speed Sedan?

Hi, my name is MazdaSpeed6, and I am a sedan.

....although I sure you meant MazdaSpeed3 Sedan. In that case, no, I used to have a mazda3 sedan and was mad at this fact, but if you look at it, it would look just too out of proportion. The hatchback looks bulky enough to hold the bulky/aggressive features of a Speed. The sedan looks sort of...well...not.

I think the sedan would be much nicer as the Mazdaspeed.

I am waiting for someone on here to do the swap!!!!!

A subtle body kit, smallish wing, and it'd be good to go.

i think they made the right move by picking the hatch i mean don't you think that mazda specialist thought about the sadan it didn't just take 10 min

a long time ago when i had my a4, i always said if mazda made a mazdaspeed3 id trade in a heartbeat... well they did, but it was a hatch... i didnt like the idea of a hatch back then... but now, that i have it, i wouldnt get a speed3 sedan if i had the option...

They probably picked the hatch because it would sell well in the rest of the world as well. Most other countries love hatches, but there isn't as much love for the hatch in the U.S.

well talking to mazda employees a few months back at mazda and they said what others have said.
They have a mazdaspeed6 is sedan. they dotn to imposs on either car. Just like they wont do a awd speed6 hatchback.

and the 3 as hatches sold faster than 6 as sedans. (sucked)

and to put a swap in a sedan. you need to modify sheet metal. They had to push the firewall back to make room for the turbo. and the back area fo the dash is diffrent. PLus all the mods to stregthen the car. and if you look at spec the wngine bay and hood are diffrent same as the fenders also!

Instead of a swap, it would probably be better to kit a turbo kit, wouldn't it? I'm not familiar with them, so I'm not sure if there are any available for the 3, but this little KO4 turbo the speeds came with isn't worth the money you spend on a speed engine when other better turbos are available. just my opinion

I was dead set against the MS3 hatch before the car became available. After owning an MSP I figured that only an MS3 sedan would look right. However, after almost a year of our MS3 I am glad that they went with the hatch. I now can't envision how an MS3 sedan would look right. Unfortunately, I think that the proportions would be off. They seemed to have gotten it right with the MS3 IMHO.

I doubt they'll make a sedan. The hatches are selling and like someone said above, many other parts of the world love hatches.

For me the usable space of the hatch is invaluable and adds to the enjoyment of the car making it a perfect fit for the kind of work I do. Plus it's
a sweet looking car imo. Even people I know who hate wagons/hatches love the look.

I love my hatch. I have been moving the past couple of weeks and I can't believe how much s*** I can fit in the car. Plus the hatch looks better.

yes, I thinl the sedan 3 just looks right the way it is. Regular. If you make it Speed, then the front would have to be bigger, and there isnt much of an ass...i dont know, it would just look disproportioned. I'm pretty sure Mazda sketched it and obviously didnt think it looked right and went with the hatch.
