Running a 4-2-1 header, no precat. OEM 02 that was before precast goes into bung on header. Have custom exhaust with aftermarket minicat where OEM 2nd cat used to be. Second 02 sensor is in bung on back end of cat body. Bungs were in header and cat when purchased. Easily passes stringent Colorado emissions. Plug non-fouler didn't work for me.Hey guys, Im thinking about getting some headers for my Fs-de motor. But my question is, will it have an "Check engine light" for removing the Pre cat?
I got a header back in September when my J-pipe and pre-cat went bad. My EGR bung didn't line up, so I had to get a $.89 black metal cap for it and left the EGR tube behind it. I also did the Non-Fouler trick with my secondary O2 sensor and haven't had a single CEL or code since.
