yeah man its a real PITA, and yea any scratches show up horrible so a coat of wax is need more often haha.

Don't you have a slushbox? or am I mixing you and sleezer together..?

if your goin forged go bigger like a gt30.... oh man thats y i cudn't live up north... goin all winter witout drivin my baaby!!!! hell nah!!! lol winters here stick around 50 and boost loves it haha

yeah winter sucks big time, but i race snowmobiles so i need the snow lol. Definately consider the gt30 though.

nahh man, not me!

I would think that a GT30 would kill most if not all of the good throttle response from a potato, as well reduce the usable RPM range by... a lot.

still needs a clear coat n a lil touchin up here n there but its gettin there hopefully ina few weeks i'll have a lip..
what yaw think u miss my black bumper?? haha

Definitely go with the 3.5 Lip...with the backing on that bumper removed it is not going to look right with the holes there and no deletes I don't think...

Just my opinion...

a gt30 doesnt really spool that much later...i would think like 4000rpm it would be spooled up a decent amount, to many people run small turbo's here
i would rather run a big turbo on low boost then a small turbo on high boost, but i guess thats just me?

i with you n plus it wud take alot less for the gt30 to work keepin everything cooler and also keepin a big punch on power... don't get me wrong tho a gt28 on about 20psi does sound sweet hell i push mine at 14psi all weekend lol its lovely

Good choice. I'm about to keep an eye out for an 03.5 lip as well...

badbander has one check the msp section for his part out

How the **** have u not blown up? Lol

meth, and all other supporting mods and a good tune is all you need...

the only reason y more then half the guys blow up there fsde is cuz they try to push alot out of the lil tiny ass turbo causing the issues.. n trust me if my car was gonna blow it wud have done it cuz i drive the living s*** out of my car... i use it for what i made it to do lol

hmm. expand on that "lil tiny ass turbo causing issues". i wanna hear y u think that :)

There r numerous threads on here about this... the gt25 turbo that comes stock is pretty much poo... it efficiency is not good.. it has to work extra hard jist to push 7psi.. n runs extra hot... so think about it ur uppin the boost on a turbo that isnt so good for ur car to begin with... this is y MOST msp owner blow there s*** up they run it all hard blowin nothin but hot air into the engin at the same time burnin/heating oil to high temps... alll of this combined is no bueno for ur engne.... yes the gt28 is bigger but theorectically its better u get mor airflow colder airflow. n it works alot less with gain that r way more..

lemme put it this way u have two msp's alll wit the same mods expect one runs a gt25 n one runs a gt28

both tuned for 10psi... which one do u think wil have better gain and last longer? ther one wit the gt28 cuz its alll around a way more efficient turbo since the gt25 is pretty much worthless after 7psi...

n to blow up a engine it doesn hist take the turbo u gotta account for how well some maintains, drives, n treats every aspect of a build.. even on a completely stock vehicle one error can make it go boom..

jist do a search therr r plenty of threas comparing the gt25-gt28... which is y when they were making turbo kits for NA pro's they all were t3/t4 kits or gt28 kits...

If you think the GT25 is poo, check out the IHI VJ35 on the MSM. Makes the GT25 look like a ******* beast. 10-11 psi is the max when it comes to efficiency. I've had boost controller issues and ended up running at around 17 psi and it does nothing. Just blows hot air.

I personally choose to look into a turbo that will give me the best performance at the limit of traction. For a FWD car, that's what... 230 at the wheels or so? After that, pointless. Unless you like buying tires.

230 is pretty low... Just need more mods to keep it on the ground! lol And more MEAT!

Ya, I saw that one. If it's still around after a while, I'll pick it up. Got too many other things right now... KMR GB, iSport rear window spoiler, books for school, etc...

lol notice how I prioritize my spending... probably should rethink that. haha

yeah i've read about the msm snails.. n thats jist lame imo... cuz the gt25 really isn't a very good turbo if your wantin performance out of your msp... if you want a stock dd then yeah its ok.. damn 17psi on the gt25 huh thats crazy.. but your right i jist spin tires thru out the first and second gear.. but i guess i'm use to it.. its not as bad as the srt4s tho that lil turbo spools like instantly.. my buddies here all have way worse traction.. atleast with the gt28 i have that lil bit of lag and then a sick power punch i love it... but all in all the gt25 needs to go if you want the most out of your whip n u don't wana worry bout the lil snail blowin hott air and meth/water is the way to goo man on FI n NA cars.. everyone shud invest in one
