i'll be heading down from edmonton. the plan is this
on Aug 25
those interested meet at 9:00 am at Gateway information center
leaving by 9:30 am sharp
going to stop in red deer so folks there can join up.
post here if you are coming so we can expect you and where u will meet us GIC or gasoline alley
expect to arrive in calgary for pre meet

I read this on 780 tuners. I'll do my best to make it out, sounds like a good time. Hopefully not everyone will be in their RX7s and Speed3s, I don't want to be the only one driving a family sedan.

Where were you last night? I thought you were coming?
Hey Funky .... are you the Glen that used to be into the biketrials scene in Calgary some 6 years back? I remember riding with a guy named Glen, when I lived in Calgary for a couple years, and I sold him a black Cove frame. He showed up in a blue Protege he just bought and was really proud of, put the frame in the back of the car, and I never saw him again. Are you the same guy?
Either way, I've decided to take the 6 out to go for a cruise and get some ideas for mods down the road. So far all I've done is tinted the windows, put in the Mazdaspeed short shifter, and the infamous air-box mod. See you guys tomorrow!

I'm selling my 6... I have some eye lids and some clear corner lights if your interested. I'll bring them with if you want to look at them... well I'll bring them anyway... see yah tomorrow.
i'm out guys:mad: my car's being a b****. i attempted to put my stock cam gears back on without loosening off the tensioner. well that didn't work. can't get the crank pulley nut off. need a new, beefier breaker bar and a 4 foot snipe i think(dunno)

You have to impact it, it will just spin the engine unless the car is on the gorund then put it in gear and you're good. Ya, you gotta loosen the tensioner to change the belt. I turn the allen key and tuck it under the Alt/ pully and it holds it for you.
