I can't believe there are more holding back. The worst natural disaster ever, and they sit looking at their shiny new Christmas gifts saying "I'm broke"

I'm debating whether to volunteer too (with a 35hr week alraedy) and do local stuff. Its the LEAST I can do.

I just transfered money to my paypal account (It will be avalible in a few days), I was going to donate this money to the Red Cross, but this will be better. Come on people!!!! These people need our help, I hope you realize that this fund CAN and WILL save the lives of many people. Just think when someone ask, "What significant thing have you done in your life?" You can proudly say "I HELPED TO SAVE THE LIVES OF MANY PEOPLE!!!" By the way outstanding job setting this up pdhaudio83!!!

People are content sitting at home, bitching about world leaders and that they think their taxes pay for EVERYTHING. They think either their money isnt going to make a difference or it could be better spent on other things. At least we have a few hardcore members that care and have donated and that matters for something.

pdhaudio knows where his heart is. Its good to see he's leading by example. This is what the board should be about. If you can ask about getting a $1000 car part, then you can certainly put up $10 towards a good cause.
