the reason is my g/f's mom wants to donate, but she needs the tax write off and what not.... I was thinking about it, I guess I could just contact the people direct and see if I can get the to send me a recipt or something.....

issue is, since its a large check being given by one person (me) to the organization, theres no way for them to write a receipt for a portion of the check...

Paypal will send a receipt for your transaction with Pdhaudio. The receipt says it's for the Tsunami relief fund. Print that out and save it (the only reason you would need it is if you get audited).

Usually you need to donate more than 200 for a tax deduction! I love how people only donate when it benefits them!

Pat, maybe the mods can post this on the first page as well, although I am sure most people have a link that bypasses it and goes straight to the forum anyway.

Or maybe post it on the advertising section at the top.

I dunno but I am sure there are tons of people that dont even see this since its in a forum that is not frequently visited.
