I think it is one of the worst if not the worst disasters in world history but I just can't help but disagree with all of the money that we as a country send overseas when we have so many people in our own country that are in need. In NYC alone look at how many homeless people we have as well as how many people die from diseases with no cure yet the US sends billions and billions of dollars to every other country rather than spend it on our own first. When September 11th happened how much money did other countries send to us to help out? Again, I am not against helping others out but I think we should concentrate on our own country more before sending as much money as we do overseas. This is just my opinion and I am sure many will disagree.
