Thank you to those who donated money for the Mazda Forums Tsunami Relief fund. A total of $1337 was collected and was given to International Aid It was $1336, but I sent a check for $1 today to make it 1337 :D

I gave it in cash to show to everyone that I will not take advantage of the donation for a tax break.

donations for Mazda Forums are done, if you'd still like to donate, go here: http://www.unicef.org/index3.html

I'm still waiting to hear if a local news station will pickup this story, but they said it isn't *really* news since everyone has been giving :( we'll see.

Good job again to those who were compassionate and gave. It showed we can all come together in tragedy.

if i get my paypal re-routed to my TX account by then I'll definately send some in.

Bump. Come on guys. There is a lot of people on here dropping several Gs on exhausts and engine management ect, but you cannot afford to donate between $5 and $10 to those who are without homes and starving. I have actually been to a few of these places that were destroyed, and the only way these poor people survive is the money from tourism (which is obviously not going to be happening for a while). You would be surprised how $10 would feed a family for a week there. Let's get together and start doing something good besides modding our cars to make ourselves happy. s***, I'm broke after spending money for X-mas and I found $10 to give.

Damn, 104 views. I guess a hundred of you were disappointed when a Tsunami wasn't a new part for your car.

updated. Come on guys. Really. You just bought and got some nice toys for Christmas, and you can't give anything to those who REALLY need it? :(
I'm not asking for $100, not even $50. Give what you feel like giving, and know that you're helping.
