MAzda fighting me on bushings

I was at dealership yesterday and got door skin replaced but currently my car has D series bushings and I did my own fix, but didnt tell them that. ask them about when my car clunks again if they would put on E series after warranty is gone and they said NO, But they could not duplicate clunk before warranty ran out cause of my fix. Now do you think I should fight their asses?

take your fix off.. let the ****** clunk and get that s*** fixed.. maybe if they are pricks go to a diff dealer that does not know about your fix..

Well, since I don't understand what you are talking about I will say this: I love my Mazda.

i left my fix on when i got my D's replaced with my E bushings.. my car wasnt even clunking, i just wanted the newest bushing before i was off warrenty.

take the fix off. Call Mazda and ask for the part numbers of the new bushings. then take those to the dealership and tell them that Mazda gave you the part number of the bushings you need...

yeah I decided that if I cant fight them without removing my fix I will just pay for the bushings when I need them, cause my car has been clunk free for 4 months now in MI with the crappy roads and it might last forever, so why jynx it. ( KNOCKS ON WOOD)

:D

yeah really, there's no excuse good enough from them.

Call Mazda USA, file complaint against dealer. This is an official TSB, they HAVE to do it.

Good luck

If there is a TSB out and a car is out of warranty is the dealer still required to fix it?

My father is fighting Ford over a TSB for upper control arms on his focus. He has documented complaints before the TSB when the car was still under warranty and now they released a TSB and wont fix the car. The other focus my parents have was fixed and was still under warranty. Same problem.

Check this out too. The charge to fix the car under warranty was $280 or something dollars (charged to ford of course) To get the same fix done on the car out of warranty the charge is $480.

Sorry this is an ultra threadjack kind of.

What fix did you guys use? Plastic?
I put a piece of Vinyl between the frame and bushing and the car never clunk like that... I had that for about 8 months or so. I now have the E bushing, hopefully they last.

here is a pic of what i did....

Sorry to burst your bubble but youre wrong. TSB's are info only bulletins. They do not imply warranty. If you have ever taken the time to read one there is always a disclaimer.

Paul - Cool, thanks for the pic.

Nice to see you have vinyl on your car.

Ricer.

:D :p
