Mazda ECU Re-flash

:
Mazda 2 TS 1.3 True Red 5door Hatch
ECU Re-flash...

I've had a quote for a re-flash 1.3 TS AC & they say i'll get an extra 10bhp ish... 75bhp standard...
Got a quote for my wifes car "Julie71" 1.3 Tamura extra 10bhp ish... 84bhp standard...

Had a look through the EPC & manual to see what the differences are mechanically or electrically
but nothing stands out....

Is this only down to mapping ? Can the 75bhp be taken up to the 94bhp of the re-flashed Tamura ?

Been looking at an aftermarket ECU to fit to the M2, but what controls the main fuel & ignition maps....

Load v Speed to give deg timming & injector.... but what do you generate the load from....

MAP MAF TPS ? trim with Engine Temp, Air Temp, knock, O2....

Controlling EGR, Cam timing, actuator shuttle valve on the inlet ?

*crickets*

Are the injectors the same as well? I dont have access to look at 1.3 part #s

So when your car get some mileage they allow the throttle to open more to make up for it. All wrong.

Derrick....

That's why I can feel the difference so much driving my wife's M2, watch the throttle demand & actual now whilst driving, depressing (uhm)
ha.... or not as the case may be (rofl2) wonder if she's miss her ECU for a few hours (drive2)

Anybody else monitor different values in the ECU of there car while there driving ?

Been watching the Timing Adv & EGR... tell tales on the timing show from -15 to 49.5 deg....thats a hell of a swing as per Joe's post
"Car LOVES advance. So far have not found MBT above 4000 revs and we are at 32deg TA now." (scratch)

What algorithm is the EGR using.. does not seem to follow any logical path 0% to 90% at varying times (screwy)

I use an AIM Solo II DL in the B-Spec car. We have looked at the data feed from the ECU and there is plenty to leave you thinking WTF.
