Hi @anyDude , I need the latest firmware 74.00.310A for my 2016 Mazda CX-5, currently on the firmware version NA region 70.00.100A, can you please help me with the latest file link? Is it ok to go directly from 70 to 74 upgrade?

There has been a change in what Version Numbers to now Install and this depends on what Version is currently running in your Mazda today.
Install Procedure...
(All Mazda Models already on Stage 2 .up firmware in use).
IF YOUR MAZDA HAS FIRMWARE VERSION ON or BELOW
55.00.600 NA N for North America, or,
56.00.000 EU N or 4A N for Europe/UK , or Australia, Asia, NZ, Oceania Middle East.
LIKE 31.00.100 or 41.00.000 or 55.00.000 (NA N) or 56.00.000A (EU N or 4A N).
THEN YOU MUST UPDATE with Version Number 70.00.100A First!.
THIS IS A TWO (2) FILE INSTALLATION FOR YOUR REGION or COUNTRY.
70.00.100A-FAILSAFE.UP (First)
Then next Install (one after the other do not remove the USB Flash Drive).
70.00.100A-REINSTALL.UP (Last)
Warning...!!!
DO NOT TURN OFF/ON or START ENGINE BETWEEN THIS

Yeah, my wife just wants her touchscreen to stop having ghost touches and for the backup camera to consistently work. I was able to get my hands on 70.00.100A and got that updated this morning. Still looking for whatever the latest NA version is for this (2017 Mazda CX-5)
@ClssicCaleb i did the update from 70.00.100A to 70.00.335C on my CX5 2016 a couple of months ago and worked fine.
I had no issues with ghost or camera, my issue was that CMU rebooted in cold weather, but sw update did not help, it was the SD map card causing the issue, had to take it off.

Good to hear and funny you mention that. Ash8 is super awesome and got me going with the firmware, but on another note while I was trying to backup the navigation SD card it was painfully slow and kept failing.
I used win32diskimager to make a backup image of the card and luckily it was able to read it and make a block level backup. I restored that image onto a newer SD card and it's night and day difference now with speed and loading. So maybe that will fix some other quirks.

Not sure what happened here. I attempted to update from the current version to 70.00.367A and it all stopped, wouldn't do a thing. It says Fail safe not available and won't find any update file on the USB stick, it previously found it. The unit still appears to work as it should but I want to complete the update.
After reading a post by Ash8 it looks like I should have updated to 70.00.100 first which was the two part install.
Any help will be massively appreciated.
