To the people who have a manual, this armrest does NOT get in the way of shifting at all. In fact, for me(I'm 6'1" 250lbs) it's perfect height for me to do some lazy shifting, so i can shift effortlessly with my arm still sitting on the arm rest lol

Installed mine the other week, love it. A bit tricky to shift with a cup in the cup holder, but not that big a deal.
