Mazda branding = yucky

I remember reading somewhere that Mazda was worried about their lack of idenity and felt that if their car names were (for example) the "Mazda6" or "Mazda3" ... then most people would remember that those cars were "Mazda" cars ... and not something else ...

...Really! I'm serious! ... really!

cant argue with nissans numbered cars, the 350Z makes u remember its name dammit, while it holds u in a head lock and gives u a ass beating. but on the other hand i like the silvia over the 280sx, i think it depends on the car and numbers given to it. as for mazda and the single numbers I.E. 3, 5, 6. not a fan, who wants to say they have a single digit car. just seems odd, would much rather say i own a 350z and not just b/c its a badass.

btw Pui is that u or just some pic of a random girl u say is your girlfriend, not meaning to be an ass but if thats really u or really is your girlfriend, mad props.

Numbers Pleaze

I bought an 88 323 GT Turbo. I thought the numbers were cool. (I was young) If it had a name I might not have bought it. I believe I was their target buyer. They aim for the young. The dealer showed me his private Mazda literature and I (my personality) was all over it. I'm glad they got back into the fun stuff. My 99 Protege ES was BORING!!!

ALRIGHT I'LL BE SPECIFIC

"The dealer showed me his private Mazda literature" I believe it was called Mazda Fuel. It has the up and coming Mazda stuff ( A Mazda enthusists dream). There was no reason for him to hide it from me cuz he knew I was an an enthusist. There was a little (pocket) 3x3 book glued in the back cover that described the target customer and the "hot" stuff on each model to push to us younguns'. OKay? Sorrrrrry!

What, tabasco-mustard colored SpicyOrange ain't hot enough for you?? haha.

Seriously though, Mazda's comin out with some really neat looking cars. The Mazdaspeed Demio kicks ass, and Honda and Toyota are scrambling to grab market share away from Mazda in Japan. Ford, please continue to keep your hands off of Mazda, because your Ford cars are undesirable. Thank you.
