Mazda 6 wheel wont fit mp5??

I just try to put some 2004 mazda 6 17x7 wheels on mp5 and they didnt fit'
the hit on the strut' maybe it was the tire but i fit in back and i could feel the rim rubbing on the strut too' I was so suprise that the oem rim for mp5 is 16x6
that doesnt give much choices' now iam wondering if 16x6.5 wheel will fit the mp5'

What size tires are on the 6 wheels? If it is the stock size for the 6 then that is your problem.

To answer your other question, yes 16x6.5 will fit (check my sig).

yea i was stock tires on the 6 wheels'
so 17x7 will fit mp5?

they should fit if you have the right size tires as ctt3p5 said. Im running 215/45/17 and im pretty sure you cant run any higher of a profile than that.

As I suspected, the stock Mazda6 tires will not fit on the P5. You'll need to get new tires for them. IIRC you will need a 205/40/17 or a 205/45/17 as the offset of the wheels are +60. I am almost positive that a 215 tire will be too big.
