Mazda 6 Paddle Shifter Mod - Retrofit on CX-5

Hi guys
Has anyone done this before?

i've upgraded my CX-5 from the BMW E46. From e46fanatics forum community, we have done retrofit the M3 SMG Steeringwheel with paddle shifter on the non-M car

Figuring if we could do the same with the CX-5 since both car (CX-5 and M6) share the same trip-tronic transmission system

I ve heard in japan that they have done the mod. but its too much work and effort . it can be done.

I has shift buttons on my Audi wheel and I found I couldn't use them regularly. If you needed to shift in a corner you didn't know where they were.
