Mazda 3S GT Navigation GPS issues

I would like to modify my navigation system, for to input addresses while driving, unafortunatelly for security reasons, can't enter any address while driving. Any info about to modify wiring or software will be appreciated. I think a wire that is VSS feed the GPS to know if the car is moving, but also I saw that when I'm driving in a tunnel the navigation continues to show the location even if no signal of satellite is received, then I think that signal can't be void, anybody knows if it's possible to enter in a program mode for to modify that behavior? Mazda 3S GT 2006.

The GPS can know if the car is moving just because it is a GPS unit and that's what it does, so I doubt it uses any wire coming from the car to get the speed.

The only thing I've heard of like that is for aftermarket in-dash DVD players. They usually have a wire that goes to your e-brake so that they will only play movies while the e-brake is on.

Wow...that must be a new thing on the 06's. My 04 lets me drive and input addresses at the same time.
