No the vibrant header eliminates the primary/only cat with the flex pipe I believe.

yeah i did just get the vibrant exhaust! i need the header now! also the 3 has 2 cats, one on the stock exhaust system and one on the stock header. the vibrant header eliminates the primary cat, but youd still have a cat on your exhaust (if you have a stock exhaust)

and did you use the non-fouler approach to avoid CEL?

I never installed it, but previous owner used an antifouler. 2.3L, but i dont think there's any difference. Sure I can help install.
