Mazda 3 TCS/DSC WARNING LIGHT

Hi
I am a new member so go easy,

My Mazda 3 is 3 years and one month old( just out of warranty, when I started the car today the TCS/DSC light came on and stayed on.

Any ideas what the problem is

were you holding the traction control button down while you were starting it?

If you weren't holding the DSC button down during startup, then I'd say it's telling you there's a problem with the traction control or the stability control or both.
