Mazda 3 iTouring 2.3L 2008 past 120mph

For the love of all that is holy, DO NOT support DPTune! His flashes never work, and his customer service is TERRIBLE. I've had my ecu back and forth 3 times (all at my expense), as well as giving him an additional $70 for doing some "logging" which would "make it perfect". I ended up putting down LESS POWER THAN BEFORE! Take it from someone who lost several hundred dollars, NEVER go to DPTune, EVER.
I'd like to note that my eperience is typical, as a handful of other Mazda owners have contacted me asking if my experience was as terrible as theirs! Hell, even the Mazda2 Spec-B car which was paid for by Mazda is tuned by him and they've had issues!
i.e. this car:

Most of the problem you had was a complete lack of undersatnding how cars work. That and the fack you kept telling us you did not want to do any testing but that you wanted the car to be faster, and make more power, but could not come up with any data to tell us what was "wrong"

It might be fair to note that we gave up trying to help you on your car, and returned your money, less shipping cost just to get you to go away. I'm sorry we could not help you, or get you to understand the process.

For those of you who would like to know more, we are the only company in the United states that has complete flash control over the Denso and Mitsu ecus used in the Mazda platforms. We are in fact the inhouse tuner for Mazda North America, and the official tuner for the Mazdaspeed/Playboy MX5 cup. We also have a fair amount a credibility in SCCA and NASA racing circles, with 1 national Championship, 9 national track records, 5 divisional championships, and the 2008 Triple Crown. All in a Mazda3 2.3, so I think its safe to say we know a few things about this platform.

Sorry to step in here a rant, but I like to keep the record straight. We have a 100% money back return policy on all our tuning, and services, and to date, after being in business doing this for 4 years, this is the only time we have ever had to refund a customer, or even had one ask for a refund! Our customer service is second to none, and we take a huge amount of pride in the thousands of happy customers, with quite a few being repeats on their second and third cars! In short, we stand 100% behind our work!

vss limiter is set at 118.3 mph on ALL NORTH AMERICAN 3s. Its in the ecu coding, and in the HDU coding also. We can remove the limiter for you, and raise the rev limiter as well as fix all the pwr issues in the stock 2.0 and 2.3

Hey jmac what kind of increases can you get on a stock NA 2.3 (mazda3 2.3 from 2008 (or stock with exhaust) just from your retune? I guess if there would be anyone to ask itd be you.

Yeah my car kicks off at 120 mph. 120 Is scary enough for me, my car felt like it was ready for flight.

FWD and 120mph scares me....in the mustang it was a quiet bliss where in the 3 its like a quick rush I want to experience then come right back down before the inevitable happens.

Oh yeah ain't no high speed cruising no matter what 3 you got...my brother bought an '11 5.0 Stang(has since traded it lol), said he was cruising at 130 without realizing it. I'd be saucing the seat in my car :)

When I was going 120 in my 3 the car would like kinda hover back and fourth, as if wind was blowing left and right.
