Just a short post to let Forum members know that the Mazda 3 has now been released in Australia. It arrived at the dealerships last Friday (16 Jan) and is being officially released by Mazda Australia on Saturday (24 Jan).
I ordered the top of the line Mazda 3 SP23 Sedan (Titanium Grey) about three months ago and took delivery of my new car last Saturday (17 Jan). It really is a great car and I have had many people come up to me in the car park and ask what it was, how it drove and where they could enquire about one.
The Australian spec Mazda 3 does not include some of the options offered to the large North American market. Such things as the trip computer, xenon lights and sunroof are not on offer. I might in the future put out a post seeking help from one of the members to get certain parts (ie. Xenon lights) that are not available to me in Australia.
Happy driving and the wait was certainly worth it. Great Car.
