You wanna drive something that sucks in the snow? Try a 2wd pickup. That'll pucker your brownhole. (nervous)

pucker your ... (screwy) ???

but yea, I worked in a hardware store in charlotte NC. All the people with tacoma's and rangers coming in buying huge bags of kitty litter and wood chips: to weigh down the bed when it was moving and to put something down when it got stuck.

Nothing was more fun than having an '88 camry on ice tho... I wouldn't be able to start in first without having the wheels spin. I basically just spun at idle in the direction I sorta wanted with my wheels pointing the way I wanted to go when the tires finally caught. Same thing happened with reverse.

Light?! You think this car is LIGHT?? It weighs 2,800 lbs! That's 50 lbs more than a Civic hatch (with the same hp, I might add).

Trust me, it's not the car that sucks in the snow, it's the stock tires. I put Kumho Ecsta ASXs on mine and it's as good or better than any (non-AWD) car I've ever driven in the snow. The only thing I've experienced that's better is a 4x4 or a minivan with 195-series tires.

There alot cheaper than those damn RSA's i think i will try that, thanks

Hey, just bought an 05 sport gt,really pleased with it until i drove it in the snow! It was pathetic to say the least. However, iv'e since bought a set of 16" snows and rims and the car is transfomed!! It's even fun to drive in the snow now although not as much fun as my awd Talon.

I was out the door on mine for $430, including sales tax.

With the tires that came stock on my WRX, my car slid around too much in the snow. AWD means nothing without a serious set of snow tires. If you are trying to drive in winter on 17" performance tires... well, if I see you I'll point and laugh...
