Maybe Moving to Dallas.

So I might be moving to dallas, but I am from birmingham alabama. Here the rules on cars and inspections is pretty much nonexistent. What are the problems I should look out for if moving there?

no CEL's and beware of shops who do sniffer tests.

if the car isn't OBD II, you need to find someone who will inspect it for you. i may be able to help you out on that. texas isn't that hard core on most of their inspections, but you do end up with the occasional county that will have a lot harder rules.
