^^^ I'm also curious. And I plan on drilling/tapping my intake mani for the temp sensor as well for my KL swap but couldn't find much info on anyone else doing it that way. Everyone else just puts it in the air intake piping.

I put it in the manifold because I wanted the most accurate temperature possible, after my methanol injection had a chance to atomize properly.

I completely removed the charcoal canister and associated lines.
 
Any pictures of how you plugged the lines? Do you get the smell of gas in the cab? When you fill up it does leak it I the lines? Thanks
 
Remove all parts of the Evap System...

Then...

Take Both lines in the back (The ones that both go under the car to the front) and loop them together.

That's It.. No Drama.
 
I just want to know why this (evap system) is a subject in this build thread. No offense to anyone but it's just clutter. Now Maxx how's the research going on your transmission issues?

Because it was removed or just moved and people want to know how to do it themselves..
 
So what's the progress with the ball bearings?

There's not much progress on anything. I've been flying long ass days lately and havent had a ton of time. WIll be getting the car ready for winter anyways on Tuesday, it goes into "hibernation" until spring. Despite that, I'll still probably get a bunch of s*** done over the winter.
 
What protege repair manual did you use? Also what wire did you cut to shut off the CEL?

I've got all 4. The shop manual, the engine rebuild manual, the transmission rebuild manual, and the wiring diagram.

It's labeled in the FSM, off the top of my head pin 3 sounds correct.
 
That's a hell of a bump. I was actually thinking about this thread the other day when I was looking at the MFactory Gears and plate mod.
