mattyr0's pro5 build

Nothing special but I thought I'd post my before and after (as of tonight) engine bay pics. I pulled out the a/c lines tonight. Going to pull the condenser and compressor in the next few days as well. Starting to look cleaner :D sorry for the cell pics and yes my intake is zip tied at the moment. the bracket the intake came with broke and I'm making a new one. gonna be modding the intake a bit soon

Anyone think the 1.8 all spark plug wire swap is better than the 2 wires 2 coil packs? I'm trying to find the pros and cons.

modified cai

I bought a cold air intake from a guy local from a 2.2 cavalier and I modified and got it all working nicely. Intake sounds very rowdy I like it a lot!

I threw the codes p0455, p0421, p0301, not sure i know I may have a slight leak from a hose not being tight enough, I have no cat or resonators so that would be the p0421. but for some reason I got the cyclinder #1 misfire code. It has a slightly rough idle on idle and it sometimes dies out after I try starting up, usually only happens after warm up.

I parked my car for the winter last weekend, over the next few months I plan to lower my car, paint the new front bumper and finish my engine bay tuck. I've been doing a little research on the KL swap, I'm taking a lot of interest in but I'm gonna weigh out my pros and cons. I recently picked up a 1997 Polaris ultra 680 sled, so this winter shouldn't be too bad just hoping for more snow than last year haha
